Derryn Hinch walks for justice!

Hi ,
I just want to make  a note of the fact that Derryn Hinch is doing a 10 day walk from the jail he was in custody for naming a perpetrator, to Parliament house in Melbourne Victoria.  He is doing this walk to then present a petition to Parliament asking for a public register of convicted sex offenders.

I think this is a wonderful idea! He is a champion of many survivors of sexual abuse. I watched a program on TV a few weeks ago and it seems that Derryn himself was a child victim of sexual abuse by a man visiting his family home. I have often wondered at his passion and compassion on this subject, this may be where it started.

Here is a link to his site and the information on the walk which he is half way through.

Thank you Derryn from the bottom of our hearts!
